Customers in English speaking countries who purchase an AMD processor as a “boxed product” will now receive six-month license of AVG Anti-Virus paid version absolutely free; ensuring protection from the latest online threats straight out-of-the-box. On top of this, when their free subscription of AVG Anti-Virus (with a retail value of $34.99) has lapsed, they will then have an option to renew their license at a discounted price.
AVG will work together with Digital Delivery Networks, Inc. (DDNi), a PC customer?experience company, to build a mini-CD preloaded with the antivirus which will be packaged and distributed with the AMD processors.
