Describe what you do at AVG.

I’m head of content at AVG, which means I oversee the content we produce, and the stories we tell, across our blogs and video content.

What’s been the most exciting moment for you at AVG?

I have loved working with some really creative people in designing and putting into action some great campaigns around our digital lives, such as our award winning Digital Diaries series, and alongside such a fantastic community team. One of my personal favorites was starring in the SMB Bootcamp video with the guys from the London office, although three hours standing in freezing cold water in November, was a chasing experience to say the least!

If you could meet any athlete, who would it be – and why?

Oh there’s so many. I would love to meet Jessica Ennis. She was inspirational in the London Olympics. She was the poster girl and had the hopes of a nation on her shoulders and delivered a gold medal! But I love cycling, so I’d also love to meet Bradley Wiggins, what a feat to win the Tour de France and then take Olympic gold in the road race a few weeks later. Can I have two please?

Who in history do you think would have the most Facebook fans – and why?

President John F Kennedy, inspirational leader of the most powerful nation in the world and a man who did so much to change the views of a nation. Plus he cut a cool image; I think social media would have loved him.

Would you rather travel back 500 years or forward 500 years – and why?

I hate thinking of what the world will look like in 500 years time! For me, I’d travel back 500 years. I’d love taking part in massive medieval banquets, maybe even in my own medieval barn in Norfolk, UK. I’d love to experience the real story behind how such a massive building was built less than 500 years ago!

Finally, what is your top internet safety tip?

Get a mobile antivirus for your Android smartphone, such as AVG Anti Virus for Android. Not only does it stop you downloading dodgy apps from the Android Marketplace, if you lose your phone (like I have done regularly) it helps you locate it.
