I am delighted to announce that the first ever AVG Cloud Summit will take place from the 19th-22nd October 2014. The event is to be held at the prestigious Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. The expansion of AVG’s cloud-based security and remote management & monitoring (RMM) business services portfolio are inextricably linked with those of our partner community. We are therefore working hard to put together a busy program of activities that will educate, engage and empower them. We will also demonstrate that we have an exceptional mix of software applications, financial commitment and expert resources to bring substantial benefits to their business for many years to come.
The overall aim of the Cloud Summit is to provide our partners with plenty of best practice tips and advice about how they can use our software to help them grow their business. We will show them the different ways that our suite of applications can help them streamline their businesses including giving them simpler, tighter integration between toolsets and helping to keep their costs down. From keynotes by distinguished guests and panel discussions to hands-on training, product demonstrations and focus groups we will give everyone present something to remember.
There will be the opportunity to delve deeply into AVG CloudCare™ and AVG Managed Workplace®, looking at how the portfolio for the partner community is expanding, incorporating AntiVirus, Content Filtering, Online Backup and Email Security Services. AVG will host extensive educational sessions on both platforms, built to help Managed Services Providers thrive in the competitive SMB IT Services industry.
Another focus at the event will be dedicated sessions for the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Helpdesk (HD) side to the AVG Managed Workplace platform. The NOC is an increasingly popular service for partners seeking round-the-clock assistance with the monitoring of RMM dashboards, error reporting and simple remediation. The Helpdesk service is a resource that partners can draw upon as first line support for customers when they call in to report an incident and need a rapid response. These services offer partners a way to outsource basic helpdesk or professional IT services support without the risk or responsibility of hiring additional in-house staff before their business is ready to sustain them. Helping these partners to focus on winning more business for themselves is closely aligned to AVG’s own vision and will be a significant part of our value proposition going forward. We expect both to play an important role in the future of AVG CloudCare.
